What are "games"?

  • at least two players; player may be an individual, or a general entity 
  • number of possible strategies present
  • strategies can change the final outcome of the game
  • payoffs will be a result of the end of the game 

Our Intentions

When you hear the word "games" you immediately think about sports and entertainment. However, games are not always used for just playful purposes. Kids play fun games all the time, at home and in school. In the real world, games can be used as a form of manipulation. All types of mind games can be played in many aspects of our society.

Game theory, or the mathematics of trying to figure out the outcome of a situation by using a strategy can help us in all different areas of life. It can help us work out the problems in our life and successfully solve them in a logical way. 

What exactly are "Mind Games"?

When we asked people what they thought of when we said “Mind Games” most people weren’t sure what to say. They said it was a confusing question. By nature, mind games are confusing. That’s where they get their name. They refer to the mind being manipulated or altered in some way by outside influences, ideas or people. The google dictionary definition of mind games is "a series of deliberate actions or responses planned for psychological effect on another, typically for amusement or competitive advantage".
